A former hair and makeup artist who worked with Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood has sued the country star, alleging rape and ongoing sexual harassment dating back to 2019. Brooks denies the claims, calling them an extortion attempt, and filed a preemptive lawsuit in Mississippi. A motion to dismiss the California case is set for a December 8, 2024 hearing. Brooks remains booked for a 2026 London festival.
